Ride Descriptions
Weekday Rides:
ABC's Weekday Monday and Wednesday Road Rides are on now starting from Elon Bark @ 6 pm. We have A, B, and C, level rides following the same route, so please come out and join us for a ride.
Urban Assaults:
We ride through city bike routes with front and rear lights in a group for safety. This ride starts at J and L and is about 20 miles. These rides are currently running on Tuesday nights @ 6:30 pm starting from J and L Bicycle downtown Burlington.
Weekend Turtle Rides:
This is our faster paced ride averaging 18+ mph for about 30 to 50 miles in the early am starting about 7:00 at Elon Ball Park Field across from the Elon Fire Station. This is a show and go ride and does not follow the no-drop policy strictly.
Tweener Rides:
This is our "in between" ride that will avg 16+ mph for around 40 miles that is a Saturday only ride that starts at 8am at Elon Ball Park Field across from the Elon Fire Station.
Weekend "Fred" Rides
This is our biggest ride of the weekend. It starts at 9 am on Saturdays and Sundays from J and L Bike Shop. This is a NO-Drop policy ride. The ride averages 40 to 60 miles around 14 to 16 mph average.
Weekend MTB Rides:
Via our member's only message board, we organize weekend MTB rides at numerous locations in the piedmont for a day of fun in the dirt. Sat or Sun depending on interest and weather.
